During the summer in the late sixties, the Dean Martin show had a summer replacement call Dean Martin's Golddigers starring Frank Sinatra Jr. and Joey Heatherton.
Joey Heatherton and me
Joey Heatherton was one of icons of the Viet Nam era and performed on many variety and drama programs during that time. So when she came to town along with Bob Hope I had to go see her. Luckily for me I got up close and personal during the show. This blog is dedicated to those who lived thru that era and want to take a walk down memory lane.

The 60's a time of change, a time of excitement
Anyone who has lived thru the 60's knows exactly what I'm talking about. We went from the innocence of the 50's and brought the world into the wild world of the 60's
Although we didn't have all the modern devices and conveniences of today, it was still a great time to grow up as a teenager.
The music changed, attitudes changed and the outlook for the world was changing.
